| Peace of Mind Gift Annuity |
Miss Charity Smith taught high school English for 37 years before retiring. Having spent her working life seeing the importance of learning in peoples' lives, she had dreamed of creating a scholarship but did not feel that she could do so without the income her funds produce. She also worked with the staff of the Foundation to establish criteria for her scholarship, which will be funded by the annuity principle upon her death. Thus, she will be able to realize her dream of supporting young people but was also able to provide income for herself!
